Our Christian Beliefs

  1. The One Triune God

We believe in one eternal, all-powerful God who exists as three persons in the Trinity—Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit—united in essence and purpose.

2. God as Creator

God created the heavens, the earth, and all that exists, including humanity, out of nothing. He sustains and governs the universe with wisdom and love.

3. The Divinity and Humanity of Jesus Christ:

Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life on earth.

4. The Death and Resurrection of Jesus:

Jesus was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died for the forgiveness of humanity’s sins, was buried, descended to the dead, and rose from the grave on the third day, conquering death.

5. The Ascension and Second Coming of Jesus

Jesus ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father. He will return to judge the living and the dead, establishing His eternal kingdom.

6. The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, empowers the Church, and guides Christians in truth and holiness.

7. The Bible as God’s Word

The Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments) are inspired by God, infallible in matters of faith and practice, and the ultimate authority for Christian life and doctrine.

8. Human Sinfulness and Need for Salvation

All people are born sinful and separated from God due to the Fall. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not by human works.

9. Forgiveness and Eternal Life

Through Jesus’ atoning sacrifice, believers receive forgiveness of sins, are justified before God, and are promised resurrection and eternal life in His presence.

10. The Church and Sacraments

The Church is the body of Christ, a community of believers called to worship, fellowship, and mission. Key practices include baptism (symbolizing new life in Christ) and the Lord’s Supper (commemorating His death).

11. The Great Commission

Christians are commanded to share the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and live out love for God and neighbor.

12. The Resurrection and Final Judgment

At the end of time, all people will be resurrected—believers to eternal life with God, and nonbelievers to eternal separation from Him.
